A celebration of the founding of Urbanna. Established in 1680, it’s one of the oldest towns in America! Learn all about the beginning of this port town starting with the tobacco and oyster trade. A living history day of family fun day will include pirates, a theatrical outdoor play, revolutionary war soldiers, and a coterie of colonial citizens strolling in Urbanna! Come see demonstrators showing their skills at blacksmithing, carving, and more.
Visit the Urbanna Museum and Visitors Center and see the oyster exhibit and the historic John Mitchell Map.
Enjoy colonial games, crafts, dancing, music, trolley tours and walking tours throughout the day in our charming, waterfront town. Many shops and restaurants to peruse as well.
