Salute the 242nd anniversary of the Declaration of Independence during “Liberty Celebration,” July 4 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can enjoy music, interpretive programs, military drills and artillery demonstrations, as well as learn about the challenges that faced our nation’s founders, including those who signed the Declaration of Independence. Admission to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., is $15.00 for adults and $7.50 for ages 6-12. Children under 6 are free. Admission is free for residents of York and James City counties and the City of Williamsburg, including College of William and Mary students, with proof of residency.
