An Afternoon with Mary Washington and her son, George

Partake of some of George Washington's favorite foods while his mother, Mary, chats about her life and awaits George's arrival for his birthday celebration! This engaging historical program will take place in period attire by candlelight, and includes a light buffet and hot mulled port, (George loved this port!), or cider.

Tickets are $25 each. Seating will be limited at this one-time only fundraiser for the Tavern. This event will be held in the Tavern Meeting Building, which is located behind Rice's Hotel / Hughlett's Tavern.

This historical program is held in conjunction with "NNK250", a consortium of Northern Neck venues engaged in commemorating the American Revolution's upcoming 250th Anniversary in 2026.
