Helen’s Place Photography began life in 1990 as Colonial Photography in Williamsburg’s Merchants Square.
In 1998, Helen’s Place Photography moved to the countryside just outside of Williamsburg. Here, we maintain a large indoor studio with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, a spiral staircase, and lots of backdrops and props. We also offer the only outdoor portrait park in the region. The portrait park is landscaped to provide nearly limitless natural sets.
Our outdoor portrait park offers backdrops for all ages and seasons — not to mention props, toys, and furniture that can complement any portrait session.
Nothing makes us happier than creating beautiful portraits of children whose parents we photographed as children in the early ’90s.
We are so grateful for a location and a vast clientele who have made our business such a success.
If you haven’t discovered the Helen’s Place experience for yourselves, please give us a call or stop by and visit.
