Inheritance passed

I would most likely have spent my life in genteel poverty at Mt. Airy if my father hadn't given a pass on his line of inheritance. A Richmond lawyer, he ran the business side of the ancient estate while he, my mother, my brother Bev and I spent time with my spinster great aunts and old Uncle Ned. Thanks to cousins Gwinn and Polly Tayloe and the current generation in residence, the place seems to be in good condition, with a promising future.
