What’s better than taking in the scenic views of some of Virginia’s most beautiful landscapes with a warm summer breeze at your back as you make your way to historic Williamsburg and doing so while helping push multiple sclerosis research forward?
That’s exactly the opportunity bicycle enthusiasts have with the inaugural Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads 2016. This two-day event, scheduled June 4–5, offers cyclists a chance to trek from either Smithfield or Richmond to Williamsburg. Registration is $45 through March and $50 April 1 through June 4.
A two-day route includes rides of seventy-five and a hundred miles round trip, It starts from either Smithfield or Richmond and ends on the first day with an overnight stay in Colonial Williamsburg, which will include a hearty meal, massages, musical entertainment, and an evening program. A one-day route on June 5 is also available.
Participants must be at least eighteen years old. Teens between fifteen and seventeen will be permitted on a case-by-case basis. There is a $300 fundraising minimum.
