Watercolor Painting for the True Beginner

Join us for “Watercolor Painting for the True Beginner” March 23rd – April 27th, 2026 from 10AM – 12:30PM at the Rappahannock Art Center.  Instructed by Dock Mock.  Cost of Class: $255 members; $295 nonmembers.

Do you have the desire to paint in watercolor but don’t know where to start…then this is your chance! Join artist/instructor Doug Mock as he leads you to understand watercolor and provides you with the necessary guidance and direction for you to achieve success.  You will learn about supplies, beginning techniques, choosing subject matter and achieving results that are sure to please.This is a wonderful class and one you don’t want to miss. Double the fun and invite a friend; this will be a great learning opportunity.

A key to success with watercolor is having the best supplies an artist can afford. If you have watercolor supplies that might work, please feel free to bring them to the first class. If you need supplies then Doug will have a good beginner kit (paints, brushes, palette, color wheel, paper & more) available for $125 (please make check payable to Doug Mock for supplies and bring to the first class).
