Join us for a weekend of wine & oysters on Saturday & Sunday, April 18 and 19!
Salty Bottom Blue will be onsite serving oysters from 12-4pm both days. Salty Bottom Blue is an oyster farm practicing sustainable aquaculture and serving premium oysters from the Chesapeake Bay. (Menu TBA)
On Saturday, enjoy live music by Mark Calhoon from 1-4pm. Mark Calhoon is both a solo acoustic performer and a founding member of four-piece acoustic group, The Windbags. Mark has been playing guitar throughout the mid-Atlantic since the late 1970’s. He plays a wide variety of audience-suggested, and crowd-pleasing tunes from the 60’s thru today.
On Sunday, enjoy live music by Sally & Brian from 1-4pm. Sally & Brian are an acoustic duo from Colonial Beach, VA. They entertain audiences with a diverse repertoire which spans many genres, including R&B, Jazz, Folk and Classic Rock.
Normal wine tasting fees will apply – self-guided tasting flights will be available for $12, including a souvenir glass. Oysters and other food items will be available for purchase.
Reservations: Reservations are requested for groups of 6 or more. Please reserve by Thursday, April 16th by calling us at 804.224.8687 during normal business hours. All other seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis on day of event.
Please note: Due to ABC licensing, Ingleside wine is the only alcohol beverage permitted on the premises. Absolutely no beer, liquor or other wine is allowed under any circumstance. Our courtyard is a smoke-free area. A convenient smoking section is available near the Pavilion (look for signs or ask a member of our staff for directions).

Q: Do I need tickets for the Spring Oyster Crawl?
A: No, tickets are not needed for this event. This event will be “pay as you go.” Wine will be available for sale by the bottle and glass, and food will be available for sale at market rates. Wine tasting flights will be available in the Tasting Room for $12/person + tax. See below for reservations info.
Q: Are reservations required?
A: We request reservations for groups of 6 or more. Other seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q: Will this event be held outdoors?
A: Most of our seating will be located outdoors in two seating areas, the Courtyard and the Bullpen. In case of inclement weather or for those who prefer to sit indoors, we will have indoor seating available in our climate-controlled Pavilion.
Q: Are any special benefits available for Estate Club members?
A: Yes! Estate club members will receive a complimentary glass of wine for two at the event. Club members will receive their normal club discounts on any wine purchases at the event.
Q: I don’t like oysters. Will other types of food be available?
A: Several items are typically available for non-oyster eaters. We also offer a limited selection of cheeses and crackers in the Tasting Room.
Q: Are dogs welcome at the Oyster Crawl?
A: Yes. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in our outdoor courtyard and grounds during the Oyster Crawl.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: Smoking is not permitted in our indoor areas or our outdoor courtyard. We offer a convenient outdoor smoking area near our Pavilion (please follow signs or ask a member of our staff for details).
Q: What other trail wineries are participating in the Oyster Crawl?
A: The Oyster Crawl will take place at participating wineries throughout our wine trail. You can view a list of participating wineries and their menus several weeks prior to the event at the trail’s website.
