Ready, Set, Paint! (Ages 8-12)

JULY 7 – JULY 11 READY, SET, PAINT!! Instructor: JULI SCHUSZLER

Monday – Friday 1 – 4PM, Ages 8-12

Get on your mark and get ready to dive deeper into painting! Artists will become familiar with color theory while they are painting with a variety of media, including watercolor and acrylic.  They will use a variety of approaches from realism to abstraction. Artists will have fun experimenting with diverse ways to apply paint including markers, Q-Tip’s, and sponges. Some of their creations will include a landscape, an expressive self-portrait, a whimsical collage, and a pop art piece. While having fun creating, artists will learn about the elements of art and the principles of design. Artists will enjoy this week in the studio and leave with pieces of art to be proud of!
