DATE NIGHT - Opening of Women Woodturners: A New Angle and Traveling with Trish in Vivid Color

Women Woodturners: A New Angle features work by Barbara Dill and several of her students. Barbara Dill is recognized internationally for her work in multi-axis spindle turning. Her passion for teaching has resulted in a community of women woodturners who will also be featured in this show: Shannon Conner, Betsy Bowis Terhune, Brenda Thornton, Laura Cotterman, and Laura Mathies.  Traveling with Trish in Vivid Color - Trish Poupore paints in oil and watercolor, transporting the viewer to times and places of nature, comfort, warmth, nostalgia and hopefulness through light and color. Her recent travels to Mexico and to Italy and Vienna, Austria, have inspired recent paintings.   Join us for the free opening reception from 5 to 7pm at TAG, 200 Prince Street.
