The Power of Giving
HANDS ACROSS MIDDLESEX INTERFAITH OUTREACH, INC.
$30,000 Grant Funded in 2025
Hands Across Middlesex Interfaith Outreach, Inc. is dedicated to two primary missions: delivering essential home repairs for elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged residents of Middlesex County, and addressing food insecurity through its USDA Food Bank and Backpack Buddy Program. Each month, the food bank supports over 650 families. The Backpack Buddy Program discreetly supplies children with backpacks filled with child-friendly meals and snacks for weekends and holidays. This program currently operates in three schools and the Head Start Program.
The Power of Performing Arts
RAPPAHANNOCK FOUNDATION, INC.
$22,500 Grants Funded in 2025
Since 1990, the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts (RFA) has served as a cornerstone of cultural enrichment in Lancaster County, making the performing arts accessible to both adults and students. RFA has demonstrated its commitment to the community by pledging $450,000 to outfit the new Lancaster High School auditorium with cutting-edge lighting, sound, and stage technology. To help realize this ambitious project, RFA sought community and grantor support, including a $15,000 grant from RCCF. When the new school opens for the 2026-2027 academic year, students, patrons, and other performing arts groups will have access to a professional-grade venue that will elevate the county’s artistic landscape. What’s more, a $7,500 grant from RCCF ignited creativity and inspired young minds by bringing outstanding educational and artistic performances to students from PreK through seventh grade.
The Power of Accessibility

In 2025, with support from RCCF, the Interfaith Service Council enabled vetted residents to safely remain in their homes with critical repairs and timely financial assistance for rent, utilities, fuel, medicine, and immediate car repair needs.
