So many summer things to celebrate coming up! Read on to see what's happening the rest of the month.
We spent a beautiful Sunday exploring Tangier Island. 43 club members ferried over, a few more flew, and for most it was their first time visiting this Chesapeake Bay community. Members enjoyed kayaking, strolling, golf carting, souvenir shopping, the museum and local restaurants before getting back on the ferry, where the classic 11 layer Smith Island cake was served.

JUNE 20TH: WATERMANS MARKET
Our next Watermans Market is coming up on Saturday, June 20th! Stop by from 4-8PM for music from Scuffletown, seafood, vendors, orange crushes and riverside fun. Best way to celebrate the official start of summer, which happens with the solstice that Sunday!

JUNE 21ST: FATHER'S DAY WINGS & SWINGS
Wings & Swings will be back for an active Father's Day celebration! Plan to bring dad by the club, where the menu will feature smoked meats and sides, and take part in some riverside games while you're at it.
4TH OF JULY IN KINSALE
Every year the town comes together to host a large 4th of July celebration by the river, with food, bars, live music, games and a fabulous fireworks show from the Fire Dept. Planning for this year's event, the 250th anniversary of our independence, is underway! The Kinsale Waterfront Fund is collecting donations to help with the fireworks and festivities. Tax-deductible contributions can be made online here or with a check to the Kinsale Waterfront Fund, delivered to 285 Kinsale Road, Kinsale, VA 22488. If you'd like to be a sponsor for the event ($250 for First Mate Sponsors and $500 for Captain Sponsors) please send an email to crew@the-slips.com.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Season 5 is now underway! If you were a member last year and would like to renew, you should have received an invoice by email which you can complete online or with a check made out to the Yeocomico Club. If you haven't received an invoice, please let me know!
